Air Traffic Control System (ATCS) in KLIA is operated by the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Ministry of Transport. It was first comissioned in 1998. For the period of nine (9) years, the ATC systems has been supporting the operation of DCA KLIA in the movement of aircraft to and from the airport safely and with high standards of operational availibility and functionality as set and required by the department. Thus the scope of work under this project is Design and Upgrade, Supply, Install, Migrate, Integrate, Test, Train, Commission and Rectify against Defect, Operational and Maintenance of the DCA-KLIA ATC systems. The work for the project is inclusive of the following sub-systems:
We have recently been awarded again the contract for maintenance for KLIA ATCS System. AMCOP was maintaining the system since 2007 and the fact that the Government of Malaysia has entrusted us to continue the Maintenance of this diverse and safety critical system further proves the capability and efficiency of AMCOP.
